Up

I have never taken a ride in a hot air balloon, but it's on my bucket list. I'd also love to see a massive launch of them during a festival, like the one chronicled in this gorgeous video (with background music, for those of you at work):

    Almost 30 years ago, when I first moved from Texas to North Carolina, I was fortunate enough to visit a small hot air balloon festival. The sight of these HUGE balloons taking off in the morning sky is breathtaking and well worth getting up before dawn to be there.

    We have a big place not too far from us that will take you up in a hot air balloon. For a price, of course. But not me. I don't get on a stepladder that's over five feet!

    Even though I've never been to one, I remember driving down the highway during more than one balloon festival when I was younger. I loved watching the results of some amazing imaginations floating around me. This video took me right back to those days.:)

    If you ever get a chance to go to one, most definitely do it.
